Educational Opportunities

Members can take advantage of several opportunities to learn more about our industry.

Center Tours
Find out where your power comes from. Register for the two-day Center Tour sponsored by Wild Rice each summer. Members and spouses are encouraged to take this educational tour. The cost is $65 per person and includes lodging and meals. You will visit the Milton R. Young Generating Plant in Center North Dakota and the Garrison Dam Facilities. Each year the Center Tour is held in June with the dates and sign-up information published usually in the March, April and May issue of the cooperative's Rural DeLight newsletter. Presentations
Speakers are available for presentations on a variety of industry topics and will provide electrical safety demonstrations to civic organizations, schools, etc. upon request.
